The Aurora Vela CS Floodlight is a versatile outdoor LED luminaire designed to combine high efficiency, adaptability, and durable construction. Engineered by Aurora Lighting, the Vela CS range serves residential, commercial, and industrial perimeter lighting applications.
Key Features & Design Benefits
1. Colour Switching Technology (CS)
The standout feature of the Vela CS series is its built-in CCT (Correlated Colour Temperature) switch. Installers or end-users can toggle between three color temperatures depending on the environment:
- 3000K (Warm White): Suitable for ambient residential areas, patios, and hospitality outdoor spaces.
- 4000K (Cool White): Provides clean, crisp illumination for walkways, pathways, and building perimeters.
- 6500K (Daylight): High-contrast, vivid lighting tailored for security applications, yards, and parking areas.
2. High Energy Efficiency
Delivering up to 110 lumens per watt, the fixture maximizes light output while minimizing power consumption. It is available in various wattages—including 10W, 20W, 30W, and 50W models—offering scalable options for small residential doorways up to large commercial boundaries.
3. All-Weather Durability
- IP65 Ingress Protection: Fully sealed against dust and low-pressure water jets, ensuring consistent performance in harsh weather conditions.
- Impact Resistance: Rated IK05, the toughened glass and die-cast aluminum housing safeguard internal components from physical impacts.
- Thermal Management: The slimline aluminum heatsink allows optimal heat dissipation, helping achieve an operational lifetime of up to 50,000 hours (L80/B10).
4. Simplified Installation
The Vela CS range features a slim, lightweight housing designed for swift mounting on walls or poles. Supplied pre-wired with an 800mm cable, it reduces setup time and wiring hassle on-site.
