Peter’s Story
Peter Williams, whom some of you will know from our Brentford trade counter, tragically found out that his teenage daughter Leanne had been diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy and was told that she would only live to late teens. However thanks to the support of Muscular Dystrophy UK he was introduced to Sarepta Therapeutics private clinic and through the help of family and friends was able to raise the funds needed to get Leanne the treatment she needed. Whilst Leanne still has a long way to go and a lot more costly treatment is required, the prognosis has drastically improved and now Leanne can look forward to many years of life ahead of her. This year we raised £2216 through various competitions and a charity auction.
